Production Associate – Part-time (M-F or Weekends) Opportunity!

 

Opportunity summary: The Production Associate (M-F or Weekends) primary duties include safely performing a wide range of manufacturing tasks that include stacking corrugated product, conducting quality checks, material set-up, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Our facility is looking for a dynamic and motivated Production Associate - (M-F or Weekends) to join our team. Part Time positions available either Mon-Fri, or on Fri-Sat-Sun (weekends) – candidates can choose from 4-hr, or 6-hr shifts, up to 28 hours per week. Available shift times vary – this position pays $19 an hour.

How you will impact WestRock

·  Effectively and safely operate high speed production equipment.

·  Maintain operations by troubleshooting issues and resolving issues on production line.

·  Capture, record and interpret safety, quality and production process data.

·  Perform quality control checks to ensure nonconforming product is corrected in the facility.

·  Coordinate with Maintenance to perform proactive and reactive adjustments and repairs.

 

What you need to succeed

·  High school diploma or equivalent

·  Production/manufacturing experience preferred, but not required – we will train you!

·  A strong commitment to working safe

·  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

·  A strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating complex machinery
